Someone told me the other day, I shouldn’t be so “dis-trustworthy” of others. That “a lot of black people I(she) have met are conspiracy theorist and cynical about people true intentions.” Well, I’d like to think everyone I meet gets a fair shake until they prove otherwise but on the other hand…. I sat down today and compiled some of my reasons for being “dis-trustworthy” or Leery of others true intentions.
.The Army Sprayed St. Louis With Toxic Aerosol During A Just Revealed 1950s Test In the mid-1950s, and again a decade later, the Army used motorized blowers atop a low-income housing high-rise, at schools and from the backs of station wagons to send a potentially dangerous compound into the already-hazy air in predominantly black areas of St. Louis.
.Surgical Experiments on Enslaved People by people like J. Marion Sims
.CDC Study of Experimental MMR Vaccines:Back in September, Dr. William Thompson, who has been with the CDC for more than 10 years, told The Examiner that the authors of the study manipulated and hid data that proved Black babies were more than three times more likely to develop regressive autism if they were given the vaccine before the age of 3. Parents of the Black babies who were receiving the vaccines were not made aware of the risk of their child developing autism. Must be researched some more.
.Tuskegee Syphilis Study.
.The Cloning of Henrietta Lacks’ Cells,
.Greenwood, Tulsa “Black Wall Street” until the Tulsa race riot of 1921.
.Accused of Stealing a Backpack, High School Student Jailed for Nearly Three Years Without Trial.http://www.democracynow.org/2014/10/1/accused_of_stealing_a_backpack_high
.Trayvon Martin Killed while walking home from a store with tea and skittles. Then demonized for having said tea and skittles.
.Eric Gardner choked to death By law enforcement in front of Witnesses on two different camera angles.
.Plus Generations of slavery ….PS Slavery is not only still legal in America today ….don’t believe me right?! “Thirteenth Amendment” (Amendment XIII) to the United States Constitution abolished slavery and involuntary servitude, EXCEPT as a punishment for a crime. In Congress, it was passed by the Senate on April 8, 1864, and by the House on January 31, 1865. A lot of Penitentiaries are privately owned and thriving
.MOVE Bombing at 30: “Barbaric” 1985 Philadelphia Police Attack Killed 11 & Burned a Black Neighborhood to the ground.
These are just a few…However, one can’t just read them as titles or headlines because it detaches you from the humanity of it all. These each need to be meditated upon deeply… one needs to put themselves in my proverbial mental shoes. Then ask themselves would they too be Leery of others true intentions?
